What time is it? It's karaoke time!

We interrupt your regularly scheduled writing posts to bring you The Karaoke Blogring Of Death!  For those of you who don't know anything about this, it's a monthly blog event dreamed up by those wonderful folks over at 20sb.net.  Basically, we record ourselves singing some song or other according to the chosen theme for the month (this month's theme was drinking songs, because of St. Patrick's Day), and then we are assigned a host blog where our video will be posted.
This month, it is my pleasure to be hosting the always lovely Kate Weber of Simply Kate!  For those of you who got all excited and came over her to see her right away before I posted the videos, my apologies.  The good news is, you're getting not one, but TWO videos!


The first song is Alcohol, but I'm afraid I don't know the name of the band.  (it's early here, and I'm too lazy to look it up...sorry Kate)  In any case, she's a much better singer than I am.


Your number two song is Whiskey Lullaby.  Again, no clue what band this is, but if you ask Kate, I'm sure she can tell you!

So, that's all for this month, I hope you enjoyed it!

    Seriously, your voice is so pretty. When you first sent me your videos, I played them in the background while I was at work. Whisky Lullaby always makes me want to cry when I hear it.

    You were amazing!!

    Oh my goodness, you did such a great job! Whiskey Lullaby is one of the only songs that makes me tear up almost every time I hear it.

    I almost did whisky lullaby too. I am clearly so unoriginal in most of the songs I almost did. Glad my drunken memory came up and I was able to sing something no one else did. You did it so much better than I would have.

    Whiskey Lullaby is Brad Paisly and Allison Kraus I Love it and Have to sing along when it comes on and wanna get all teary.
